"Why do you fight me? We're one in the same. You should be ruling along side me! Not this."
"What makes you think Stitch want to do that?"
"Why wouldn't you?"
"Are you happy?"
"What?" Emperor 626 was bewildered by Stitch's question.
"What do you mean, am I happy?" Emperor 626 yelled at Stitch. "I'm the unquestionable emperor and god of the pacific islands! These people worship me!"
"But… are you happy?" Stitch asked again.
"Are you happy?" Emperor 626 reversed the table on Stitch. "Are you happy living in a pathetic stilted house, being forced to pretend you're a dog, with people who can barely make ends meet, much less provide you with all the luxuries you could ever want?"
"Ih." Was Stitch's quick and instant response.
"Because Stitch have family. They love me, and I love them. It is good. Yeah, it's good, but it is too late, for you to understand."
Emperor 626 growled under his breath. "It sickens me to think that if things turned out differently, I might have become you."
This was inspired by another wonderful story by WatsonSword called Empire of the Pacific
OH MA GOSH THIS STORY IS SOOO FREAKING AWESOME!!! NO LIE, IT IS SO ACCURATE THAT I'VE READ IT LIKE 8 TIMES!!!
WatsonSword if you're reading this, I want you to know that I praise you so much for your perfect story. Never have I read anything like it, and I love it so much that I had to do this for you!
I’m pretty sure that half of you won’t even bother to read it, so i’ll summarize it for you guys.
Lilo’s life seems to be perfect. She has saved the cousins, has an Ohana, a home, and a best friend who is always there for her. But even though she is happy with her life, she still is having a hard time accepting the death of her parents.
What if Lilo and Stitch go back in time and save Lilo’s parents, only to realize that with that little change their current time has been affected, and is now in the hands of a very powerful emperor, named 626.
With Lilo’s parents alive, Lilo and Stitch never met. Without her in his life, Stitch was never taught to be good, and this is where we see the darker side of 626.
If Disney ever decide to take a risk to make a rated R movie, and wanted to show Stitch's real dark side, this story would be perfect. It really shows how important Lilo's existence is to Stitch's life. Without her, Stitch would have never been turned good. We seemed to have been focusing too much on Stitch's cuteness, and forgotten that Stitch was originally created to be evil and destroy anything he touches. Well, this story sure does prove how scary Stitch would have been if things had turned out differently. This really makes you understand the movie better, you realize the consequences and gruesome monster Stitch really could have been.
Story (C) WatsonSword
I like it that it's s dark and tragic and painfull.
And because I like thse things it's only place 2 of my favourite stories since I really enjoyed Simon's Experiments because of that. (So much that I started to write a fan fiction about Simon's Experiemts)
About the picture, I really like it. It's done very well.
Seriously... nine years! Nine years and this story's still getting attention?! I was barely 21 when I finished it! Today it actually embarrasses me. Not the story itself, but the language. I re-read a random chapter today and all I can see is a lack of sensory detail and a sea of typos. I keep telling myself one day I'll go back and finish the stories I started, and the years keep going by while I don't.
I actually found this pic only about an hour ago when I did an ixquick search of watsonsword out of boredom! This is definitely a fav. And too bad there's no rating system here because I'd have given it the max.
But there is one little mistake in the, well, entire plot to be honest. Don't take it wrong, everyone makes this mistake and they have to do it else their stories wouldn't end good or in a satisfiing way.
I'm talking about Temporal Paradoxes, time travel and timelines. Basically there are 2 ways to go. 1 Timeline oder several Timelines, where a new one beginns as soon the past is changed thus avoiding paradoxes (example: killing your grandfather beofre your father is born).
1 timeline is very simple. There you cant change the present since everything you would do after traveling back in time already happened. So when Lilo would decide to save her parents it would be no use since al her affords she would do in 'her point-of-view-future already happened in the past. Like, her parents drove down a cliff into the water, so she travels back with stitch, stitch tries to stop car but because parents see dog on street they 'slam the steering wheel' and accidently cos of rain fall down cliff. So nothing had changed and the reason to travel back in time is actually caused by the time travelers to prevent the reason (In different words: A leads to B, B leads to C, C leads to A again, A leads to B...).
But you went with mutiple timelines, and now things get a little complicated.
Basicaly I assume that if you travel back in time you travel to the past of your timeline but create new one upon arriving. This makes sense since just standing somewhere can change the timeline.
So we have Timeline1 (TL1) and Lilo and Stitch go back and create Timeline2 (TL2). This causes that there are 2 Lilos and 2 Stitches. Once 'original' Lilo and Stitch and once dead lilo and emperor 626.
Now after many chapters they go back in time again. Like I said before, they go back in the timeline where they now are, which is TL2 (If they could go back to TL1 that easily they wouldnt need to go to the accident but just to 'now' (or 'now - 1 month') just in the other timeline and everything would be fixed). So when they go back they should meet themselves. So after emperor 626 got degraded to anchor 626, Lilo and Stitch would meet themselves as they tried to stop the accident. Since on that rainy day in TL2 Lilo and Stitch arrive from TL1.
But as you maybe noticed that all of them, Lilo.TL1, Lilo.TL2, Stitch.TL1 and Stitch.TL2 would be in yet-another Timeline, Timeline 3 (TL3). Like I said before, as soon they arrive due to time travel a new timeline is generated.
So when they all would go back into their time there would be even 3 Lilos and 3 Stitchs, one from each Timeline (Okay, that's not that right, but you know what I mean, right?)
Of course someone could say, because TL1 and TL3 are very simmilar to each other they could merge to one timeline. So only 2 Lilos and Stitches. Or that the to-much-lilo-and-stitches cease to exist.
There are basically no rules for it, but as you can see it's possible to think about it a lot! And thats much fun!
Sorry for spamming text wall
I am a BIG fan of your stories, and seriously I feel like yours portray the perfect personalities of the characters compared to other stories i've read. Nowadays L&S fanfic's have gone downhill and all they focus on is romance between them (ewww).
I totally get you, I feel the same way whenever I look back at some of my works I have here. As an artist, feel ashamed of how bad my old work looks and feel embarrassed that I had posted this, while others still continue to compliment it. Me, as the reader, I find no flaw in your story. I love it so much, and you still remain my #1 fav author of L&S. So please, don't ever delete your stories or account, I still love going back to read it.
By the way, this wasn't the only work I've done based on your stories. There is another one named Living forever, that to my great surprise has gone viral!
It's based on your story called The Only Thing Worst Than Dying
Hope you like it!
Edit: Nevermind, apparently it is faved, but for some weird reason it's not showing up in my folder.
Edit #2: No wait, there it is! In the exact slot I was looking for it in yesterday. The exact spot, so it couldn't have been me.
something must've glitched.
I may one day start working on Hazard again, but I planned on that being the first part of a trilogy of stories all featuring the character Wiomi:'Hazard' has her as the protagonist, 'Fancy Rat' would have her as a mentor character, and 'The War of Ghosts' as... well... a ghost. But doing all three? That too would just be too ambitious.
But the profile itself I'll leave up until fanfiction.net ceases to be!
Anywho, you definitely captured the dispair Lilo was experiencing during that whole fiasco. It almost breaks my heart all over again. Great job!
If you like really good fanfictions, then may I recommend an incredible piece of work called "Simon's Experiments." It is a Lilo & Stitch fanfiction about Stitch's youngest son Simon, who, despite having not inherited Stitch's incredible strength, indestructibleness, or acute senses, has the most brilliant mind the galaxy has ever seen. The story starts off a little slow, but the character development that follows more than makes up for the minor lull in the beginning. It does have quite a bit of violence, and very mature themes. Also, Lilo doesn't feature too heavily in the story, as Simon is the main focus. But all in all, it is honestly one of the best stories I have ever read.
The link is here. www.fanfiction.net/s/3424022/1…
Please read it and tell me what you think.
i read the story and i think its amazing! i really felt bad for simon at the end
but sometimes i was just like"*facepalm*, you can learn how to defend yourself. or make you stronger using cybernetics. if you're a genius why dont you think of that?"
again, thank you for showing me and others this story
and i have a strange feeling for the 2 endings he mentioned in the last "chapter", the 29th chapter. idk if you read it but its there claiming that its officially over and revealing what his plans were to end the story
now i cant sleep cos i hate stories without an end or wich end badly after everything went so good in the later chapters of the 2nd part :,(
*ignores your annoyed looks*
I have finally got me to write a fan fic of simons experiments. Starting with chapter 0 where i introduct things.
Id like it if you could read it over because you're one who knows the story of SE 1 and 2.
However, i am creating a new universe so things go absolutely different from the moment i cut the original story.
Id like to know if the main idea is good or not.
Thank you for answering, no matter if you agree or not
meega so stupid
its kinda sad that according to the author simon would never have a happy end.
maybe im just to childing or whatever, but i like happy endings. especially after things went so well. and yet, everything went out of the window
okay, i didnt read many fanfics and i got only to chater 20/21 of the second part..
but it is amazing how much i hate elvis. you cant help but hate him, his character is written so good like the others.
you know, elvis isnt an asshole, he is THE asshole ^^ (i hope that swearing doesnt violate any rules D
my fantasy is driving nuts cos of that story, me imagining myself as 630 in there, kinda as the uncle who only shwos up once in a while. like simon only saw him 4 or 5 times in his enitre life
if it wouldnt violate copyright of the simon-creator, i would write my own stories xD (besides i am a terrible storyteller :3)
That was exactly the way I felt. The characters that were featured were very well developed. Like, seriously, some of the best character development I have ever seen. Unfortunately, Lilo was, in your words, "just there." I totally agree with this perspective, and feel that she should have had a much more prominent role in the story. There is a sequel, called "Simon's Experiments II." It is significantly longer than the first story, and it features new characters. However, it is incomplete, and it suffers from the same lack-of-Lilo-ness. I also recommend this story, simply because it further develops the characters, and even goes into other character POVs! But, like I said, it is incomplete, so unfortunately a resolution to the final situation is not going to happen. I have dabbled in the possibility of writing the conclusion myself, but I don't want to tick off the author if he ever does come back. :/
Anyway, I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the story!
I feel that in this story, Lilo does get a little more attention than the last one, which made me happy. Though I don't know how to feel about Stitch drinking beer or the perverseness that usually is mentioned....
anyways it is a pity that it isn't complete, but I guess that is where our imagination will have to kick in
im thrilled to read your fan fic about the academy
I could definitely see this being a film poster, even more easily considering how absolutely spot-on Stitch and his villainous counterpart look to the films. Probably the best likenesses of them you've done yet, I think.
I have read a bit of the 'Empire' fic, and, as an ironic person who's quite devoted to writing on FF.net but hardly ever reads other users' works, it was quite impressive. The dialogue between the two Stitches (Plurals?) is especially well-written, and I'm glad that you picked that passage to use in the description, to show the disgust both characters feel for their respective counterpart.
It's also stuck with me now because of the story arcs I plan to have in my 'Justice League Infinite' fic, involving alternate universe versions of several of the characters featured, Stitch being among them. (I sent you a summary of one of them, too, remember?) And another one of them will explore a very similar idea to the concept Emperor 626 represents; Stitch and Lilo never meeting, though in a slightly different way.
But anyway, astounding work, as usual, and I am still incredibly envious of your talents...But in a non-hostile, friendly way.
